Connie “April” Jefferson is a 19-year-old college student, majoring in Biology and minoring in Creative Writing at her local college. All of her life she has been pushed around and dictated by others: her stepfather, her boss, etc. 

One day while questioning whether to overdose of drugs or go home to her abusive stepfather, she meets Jody “Lostie” Heanly a drug addicted and damaged rock star. He invites her on an adventure (Roman Holiday) and brings her along on the tour with his band. Through all of the bumps in the road Lostie teachers he to live live and the fullest and pushes her to live. 

A classic  story of the problem that all teenager experience: trying to define and make an image for themeselves.
