Meet the Characters

Here's all of the characters of the book "Roman Holiday" by Denice Griffith.

Connie “April” Jefferson

Age: 19 years old

Born: April 13, 1997

Born in Worsville, MA

Resides in an unknown small town.

Connie was renamed “April” by Lostie, when he pushes her to make a “new her”. After her mother died Connie was left with her step-father and his two daughters. Because she grew up with them all of her life, she stays in state for college and decides to study at the local community college to become a dentist—because it makes a lot of money. She minors in Creative Writing so that she can for fill some of her dreams—to become a writer. On top of that she works two jobs to pay the bills, that he drunk stepfather doesn’t pay.

Connie tends to put herself last in order to satisfy other people’s needs and wants. She doesn’t know how to say “no” to anyone and lacks a life of her own. Her weakness is her “family” and her mother.

Jody “Lostie” Heanly: Lead Vocals

Age: 27 years-old

Born: August 8, 1989

His friends call him “Lostie” because he doesn’t know what he is doing with his life. He wanders around the world without a care in the world. He is addicted to all types of drugs and alcohol and loves to party.

When Lostie’s childhood was so bad that it damaged him and he left his family to go on the road. His mother died of an overdose (drugs and alcohol). His motto is “be selfish” and he is very free-spirted although he can be dark and depressed for most of his life.

Roy Ian: Lead Guitar

Age: 27

Born:

Is Lostie's best friend from childhood. Their fathers were work colleague at a pharmaceutical company they both were researchers. Roy and Lostie have been best friend ever since they were three. When they were in middle school Roy introduced Lostie to marijuana and alcohol. The started the band when they were freshmen in high school.

Jeremy Sanders: Drummer

Born:

Jeremy Sanders meet Lostie and Roy when he ran away from home at 16 years old. He joined the band in 1995. Shortly after they were discovered in 1996 by RockDecker Records. Jeremy has been best friends with Lostie and Roy.

Drake Peers: Bass Guitar

Age: 27

Born:

Drake Peers is the Bass Guitar for The Cosmic Void. He is the old brother of Axel Peers, the second Bass Guitar in the group. He is known for being very funny and laid-back. Drake is very enthusiastic about music and can be found in the corner strumming his guitar on his own. Drake does not approve of using drugs and scowls his brother for using drugs.

Mike "Mikey" Erwin: Keyboard

Age: 25

Born:

Mikey is the Keyboard of the group. He also writes most of the songs for the band with Lostie. Mikey has been in and out of rehab for alcoholism and drug abuse. When he is not in rehab he is known to be energetic yet very serious.

Jaiden "Oshie" Osheen: Rhythm Guitar

Age: 19

Born:

Oshie is the youngest in the group. He is not allowed to take any drugs, according to the group's rule. Oshie is known to be quite and shy. He enjoys reading and writing by himself when the band is not performing.

Axel Peers: Bass Guitar

Age 23

Born:

Axel is the Bass Guitars for The Cosmic Void. He is the little brother of Drake Peers.

Rowland "Rowie" Gerhold : Screaming

Age 27

Born:

Rowland meet Lostie and the band at a party a year into their starter year. He introduced the band to hardcore drugs and is addicted to Crystal meth. He is known for being aggressive and loud. Most people think he is a bad influence on the group, especially Lostie.
